Gluten-Free Buffalo Romanesco (Vegan)

Using The Really Great Food Company All-Purpose Flour



  • 1 cup RGF All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 head of romanesco(can also use broccoli or cauliflower) cut into individual pieces
  • 1 cup milk or milk alternative
  • 4-6 cups of oil or equivalent to 3″ in pot
  • Pinch of cayenne
  • Pinch of chili powder
  • Pinch of salt & pepper
  1. In a large bowl, combine AP Flour, milk, cayenne, chili powder, salt & pepper to form a batter.
  2. Coat individual pieces of Romanesco in batter.
  3. Deep fry in 3″ oil at 375*.
  4. Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
  5. Combine Ranch dressing and hot sauce for a Spicy Ranch dipping sauce. Enjoy!
         *Vegan option – use cashew ranch.
